With the first full week of summer behind us, we're enjoying a slower pace and the freedom that comes with it. Better yet, our backyard makeover is wrapping up and I couldn't be happier with the progress. We have lush grass and a patio (similar to this one) where weeds used to be. Next on the agenda is adding furniture, potted plants, and string lights, then friends, food, and fun!
I'm hoping my husband will be able to knock out this project over the weekend. Then I'll be painting it a cheery yellow or a deep emerald green.
