The Delancy Dining Chair in White has been one of our most popular designs over the years. Its cool, curved and contemporary lines make it an easy addition to any dining room.
Manufactured by ModLoft, a vast majority of our customers pair it with its counterpart: the Astor Dining Table. Today we thought we'd go a different direction, highlighting Delancy's curved shape and pairing it with some bold, mid-Century pieces.
To start, the Delancy's open, airy feeling helped us envision a dining room that was light and organic. Our goal was to avoid pieces that felt heavy visually, while adding warth and wood into the room.
The Cal Dining Table with a walnut top seemed like the perfect compliment to the Delancy. Its circular shape and white tulip base both really compliment the curved back of the Delancy. And its classically-inspired lines (and lack of legs) keep the design feeling light.
Of course, beneath a round table we opted for a round rug. The Forum Rug boasts cool hues of aqua, gray and green which really seemed to fit with our organic motif, complimenting the brown hues in the tabletops and art.
Keeping it light, we veered away from some of the larger buffets and sideboards, opting for a wooden console table instead. The Tiburon's iron legs support a Mango wood top, each fitting nicely with our theme or airy and organic!
Lastly, a few accents with the complimentary artwork, antique brass light fixture, vase and wooden stool! You can see all of the pieces at the links below:
